BUSINESS MONITORING & TECHNICAL SERVICES ADVISERS WANTED

Business Monitoring Officers x 3 (Head Office Based)

We are looking to further expand our Technical Services team and we currently have vacancies available for experienced file monitoring/technical staff.

Based at our Headquarters in Wilmslow, the ideal candidate will have a strong regulatory background and ideally have previous experience of monitoring a broad spectrum of business conducted by independent financial advisers.

Candidates holding AF3 / G60 are particularly encouraged to apply with the pre-requisite qualifications for the role being the full Financial Planning Certificate qualification and ideally CeMAP (or equivalent). In addition, the move to higher professional qualifications is fully encouraged and supported, up to and including chartered status.

Technical Services Adviser – Helpdesk/Policy/Technical (Head Office Based)

We are looking to further expand our Technical Services team and we currently have vacancies available for individuals with a broad range of regulatory experience and/or a technical background.

Based at our Headquarters in Wilmslow, the ideal candidate will have recent experience of working in an FSA regulatory environment and have experience of dealing with a wide range of regulatory issues on behalf of independent financial advisers including financial promotions, general and technical queries and policy issues.

Holding the full Financial Planning Certificate qualification and CeMAP (or equivalent) is essential whilst holding other financial industry qualifications is preferred.  In addition, the move to higher professional qualifications is fully encouraged and supported, up to and including chartered status.

Membership Support | Wilmslow Office

We are seeking a new team member to assist the Membership department in all elements of the recruitment process of PFA Member Firms in accordance with the Network procedures and FSA rules and guidance.

Responsibilities include collation of information, building and maintaining relationships with the FSA and employers, accurate recording and safe storage of information and providing the highest level of customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in a finance/business related subject and Financial Services industry experience, preferably in a network environment. Support will also be given to attain RO1-6 qualification.

Other required qualities include attention to detail, excellent planning and organising skills, the ability to work within stringent timescales, the ability to follow procedures and practices to meet with the standards expected and an excellent standard of written & verbal communication.

T&C Co-ordinator | Wilmslow Office

Working in one the UK’s fastest growing IFA Networks delivering a broad range of services to the IFA industry. The proposition envelops support services, IT, regulatory and product development.    

Financial services compliance and training and competence experience is essential and a clear understanding of the dynamics at work in the industry and the forthcoming challenges are essential.

  • T&C experience is essential
  • Experience in an Appointed Representative (AR) model is desirable but not essential
  • To have developed efficient and effective compliance processes and procedures with a proven track record of successful implementations
  • Certificate level qualification is essential
  • Diploma level qualification is desirable.

Summary of role:    

Due to the rapid expansion of our business we have set up a new, office based T&C position, to work closely with field based Consultants in order to ensure firm visits are conducted in a timely and professional manner. Based at our Headquarters in Wilmslow, the ideal candidate will have recent experience of working in an FSA regulatory environment and have experience of dealing with T&C related issues on behalf of independent financial advisers. Certificate level qualification is essential, whilst holding diploma level qualifications is preferred.

The company is now entering its next stage of growth and is looking to enhance the current, small but growing, compliance team.    

The role includes building a positive relationship with Field Consultants and Member Firms in order to facilitate a professional and effective learning and development environment. It will include collating and distributing key information to the relevant part of the business and ensuring the firms associated T&C risks are identified and managed efficiently.

Skills we would expect from the candidate would include:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills along with the ability to work independently and show initiative;
  • Excellent understanding of the regulatory requirements in relation to T&C;
  • A keen eye for detail;
  • The ability to work within a rapidly growing team and organisation;
  • Enthusiasm and drive to make effective changes quickly.
